about

I was fortunate enough to travel the world growing up. My father was in the Air Force so I began my world travels at birth. When I was 10 my parents bought me my first camera. As we traveled,I took pictures to document our adventures. Little did I know at the time, but this experience would influence my career choiceas an adult and begin to develop my view of landscapes.

Landscape is the foundation of every image I create whether it’s people, objects or places. This approach allows each project to grow from a single perspective of the subject itself creating a unifying force behind the image.

The notion of the landscape as a photographic approach, is unique in of itself. This allows for effective execution of the concept because it does two things: (1) Creates an image that is appealing in it’s formal treatment, it engages the viewer and (2) simultaneously delivers the message of the project without the viewer recognizing it.

To this end I strive to create beautiful images. There are few rewards greater than this.
